Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PvP Land's website, game servers, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You must also hold a valid, legitimate Minecraft: Java Edition account issued by Mojang/Microsoft. Use of cracked, stolen, or unauthorized accounts is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the platform.

2 Minecraft Accounts & Public Profiles

Public Profiles

PvP Land profiles are generated from gameplay data associated with Minecraft usernames and UUIDs. Profiles and competitive statistics are publicly readable. The website does not provide accounts, login, or profile-claiming features.

Minecraft Account Responsibility

  • You must not share your Minecraft account credentials with others.
  • You are solely responsible for any actions taken under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • You must notify us via Discord if you believe your account has been compromised.

Multiple Accounts

Operating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate rankings, or gain an unfair advantage is prohibited. All associated accounts may be sanctioned. See our Rules for full details on prohibited conduct.

3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized software to gain an advantage in gameplay.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
  • Impersonate staff members or other players.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or infrastructure.
  • Scrape, index, or automatically collect data from the website without prior written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks connected to the Services.
  • Engage in any conduct that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

Detailed gameplay rules - including prohibited modifications, exploits, and chat conduct - are governed by our Community Rules, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4 Purchases & Virtual Items

PvP Land offers optional purchases through our store (store.pvp.land), including cosmetic items, ranks, and other in-game benefits. All purchases are subject to the store's terms at the time of purchase. By purchasing, you acknowledge:

  • Purchases grant a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use virtual items within the Services.
  • Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and may not be sold, traded, or transferred between accounts.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue virtual items at any time. Refunds are issued at our discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated in bad faith will result in account suspension.

5 Enforcement & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account at our discretion for violations of these Terms or our Community Rules, without prior notice. Bans may be appealed through the process described in our Discord server. We are not obligated to provide refunds upon account termination due to rule violations.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 6, 7, and 8.

6 Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, and materials on the PvP Land website and Services - including but not limited to logos, graphics, text, and software - are the property of PvP Land or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

PvP Land is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. Any use of Minecraft-related assets is done under Mojang's usage guidelines.

You retain ownership of any content you create, but by submitting content to our Services (such as in game chat or a support request) you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Services.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PVP LAND AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, VIRTUAL ITEMS, OR GAMEPLAY PROGRESS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced via our Discord server.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us through Discord.
